Summary of the Ghana Individual Customer Meeting Held on 27 July 2026

On 27 July 2026, we held a WhatsApp voice call with customers to discuss their questions about buying and shipping vehicles from China to Ghana.

This FAQ summarises the main questions raised during the call. We hope to continue communicating with customers, providing clear information and improving our services.

Original Audio as follows

Choosing a Vehicle and Placing an Order

1. Why can buying directly from China be cheaper than buying locally in Ghana?

The meeting described a substantial price gap between the two markets. As an illustration, a vehicle priced at GHC10,000 in China might be offered at around GHC30,000 in Ghana, and the China-sourced total was described as potentially around 50%-70% of the local price even after freight and duty. The possible saving comes from direct sourcing, wider supply and fewer local mark-ups.

2. What types of vehicles are available?

The programme discussed in the meeting focuses on Chinese vehicles. Depending on current stock and sourcing availability, enquiries may cover passenger cars, SUVs, pickups, commercial vehicles and trucks. Customers should confirm the brand, model, model year, condition, powertrain, transmission, steering configuration and other specifications in writing before ordering.

3. Can I request a vehicle that is not listed on the website?

Yes. The Ghana team can relay a special request to the sourcing team in China. To obtain a useful quotation, provide the preferred brand and model, vehicle category,  model year, fuel or power type, transmission, left-hand-drive requirement, colour, intended use and maximum budget.

4. Can I complete the purchase online, or buy while I am outside Ghana?

Yes. A customer may select a vehicle online, confirm the quotation, pay in Ghana Cedis and nominate a receiver in Ghana. The nominated receiver may be a family member, business partner or other trusted person.

The buyer should provide accurate receiver details, including:

• Full name and telephone number;

• Identification details where required;

• Contact or delivery address;

For security, use only the official website, verified representatives and approved payment accounts. Important changes to the buyer, receiver, vehicle or payment instructions should be confirmed in writing.

5. What should I confirm before making payment?

Confirm the following in a quotation, pro forma invoice, order confirmation or sales agreement:

• Exact vehicle description, condition and availability;

• Price, currency and applicable Incoterm, including the destination port;

• What the price includes and excludes;

• Official payment account and payment deadline;

• Estimated preparation and shipping timeline;

• Customs-clearance responsibility and nominated receiver;

• Documents to be provided; and

• Cancellation, substitution and refund terms.

Do not rely only on a photograph, social-media post or verbal promise. If a term matters to the purchase, it should appear in writing.

Pricing, CIF and Payment

6. What does CIF mean, and what is included in the advertised CIF price?

CIF stands for Cost, Insurance and Freight. In this sales context, the quoted CIF price covers the vehicle cost, transport insurance and international sea freight to the named Ghanaian port. The quotation should identify the destination port and any specific limits or conditions.

7. Are there hidden service fees, and which costs are not included in CIF?

The meeting stated that the company does not add a separate service fee after the advertised CIF amount is paid. It also clearly stated that Ghana import duty is excluded.

Depending on the order and current local requirements, the buyer may also need to budget for:

• Import duties, taxes and levies;

• Port, terminal and handling charges;

• Clearing-agent fees;

• Storage or demurrage if clearance is delayed;

• Transport from the port;

• Inspection or compliance costs where applicable; and

• Registration, licensing and insurance in Ghana.

These destination-side charges are not necessarily company fees. Obtain a current landed-cost estimate from a qualified clearing agent before committing to a vehicle.

8. Must the vehicle and freight be paid in full before shipment? Is instalment financing available?

Yes. The arrangement confirmed in the meeting requires 100% payment of the vehicle and CIF amount before the vehicle is shipped. No company-provided instalment plan, credit facility or pay-after-delivery option was confirmed.

A customer may independently seek a bank loan or other financing, but that is separate from the seller. Do not assume that financing exists unless the company provides a written financing agreement.

9. How can I pay, and how do I protect myself when paying?

The meeting stated that the company has a bank account in Ghana, making local payment possible. Customers abroad may also be able to pay remotely according to the approved instructions provided for their transaction.

Before sending money:

• Match the beneficiary name and account details to the formal quotation or invoice;

• Independently verify any new or changed account through a second official channel;

• Never send money to an unverified personal account;

• Use the order or invoice reference with the payment; and

• Retain the payment receipt and written confirmation.

10. Can I pay the import duty after the vehicle has been shipped?

Yes. The vehicle and CIF amount are paid before shipment, while import duty is normally paid during customs clearance in Ghana. The meeting described an estimated shipping period of about two months, which may give the customer time to prepare the duty and local clearance funds.

However, the buyer should estimate those costs before ordering. Delayed clearance can cause storage or demurrage, so the duty budget and clearance plan should be ready before the vessel arrives.

Shipping, Customs and Delivery

11. How long does shipping take?

The meeting gave an estimate of about two months after payment. The total timeline can include final vehicle confirmation, export preparation, shipping booking, port loading, sea transit and arrival procedures.

This is an estimate rather than a guaranteed delivery date. Vessel schedules, space availability, trans-shipment, weather, port congestion, document release and customs clearance can affect timing. Request the latest estimated departure and arrival dates for the specific shipment.

12. Who handles customs clearance in Ghana? Can I use my own clearing agent?

The customer may use a trusted clearing agent. The company stated that its assistance is optional: if the buyer does not have an agent, the Ghana team can help coordinate the process.

Before the vehicle arrives, confirm:

• Who is formally responsible for customs clearance;

• Which documents are required and who will receive them;

• The current estimate for duty, port charges and agent fees;

• The expected clearance deadline; and

• Who is authorised to collect the vehicle.

13. What is the complete purchase and delivery process?

A typical transaction follows these stages:

1. Select a listed vehicle or submit a sourcing request.

2. Confirm availability, specifications, CIF quotation, destination port and excluded costs.

3. Verify the company contact and approved payment account.

4. Pay the vehicle and CIF amount in full and obtain a receipt.

5. Receive vehicle confirmation, export preparation and shipping updates.

6. Obtain the shipping and clearance documents.

7. Prepare import duty and appoint a clearing agent or request local assistance.

8. Complete customs clearance and collect the vehicle.

Exact steps may vary by vehicle, shipping method and customs requirements. The written contract and current instructions for the specific order should be treated as authoritative. After customs and destination charges are settled, the vehicle is released to the authorised buyer, receiver or clearing agent. Names and authorisations must match the order, shipping and clearance records.

Documents and Order Updates

14. What documents should I receive?

The exact document set depends on the transaction, but a customer should normally expect relevant items such as:

• Formal quotation or pro forma invoice;

• Vehicle specification and order confirmation;

• Payment receipt;

• Commercial invoice and applicable export documents;

• Bill of lading or other shipping document;

• Vehicle identification or chassis information;

• Transport-insurance information where applicable; and

• Documents required for Ghana customs clearance.

Check all names, receiver details, vehicle identifiers, prices and destination information promptly. Keep original documents secure because they may be required for clearance and collection.

15. What updates should I receive after payment?

Customers should agree on an official communication channel and receive updates at key milestones. These may include payment confirmation, final vehicle allocation, export preparation, shipping booking, loading, vessel departure, document release, estimated arrival, port arrival and clearance or collection status.

For security, changes to the payment account, vehicle specification, buyer or receiver should always be confirmed in writing by an authorised contact.

Trust, Verification and Local Support

16. Where can I find the official website, and is there a physical office in Ghana?

The meeting stated that the official website link was available through the customer group. Customers should ask an authorised administrator if they cannot find it and should avoid links supplied by unknown individuals.

As of the meeting on 27 July 2026, a location for the Ghana office had been secured but the premises were still being fitted out and prepared. It should not be described as fully operational without a current confirmation. Before visiting, confirm the latest address, opening hours, representative and appointment requirements.

17. Who is the local Ghana contact, and what support can the local team provide?

During the meeting,  Ziggy  introduced himself as the manager responsible for the Ghana branch. The local team can assist with vehicle enquiries, sourcing requests, quotations, payment confirmation, order follow-up, documentation, shipping updates and customs-clearance coordination.

Because personnel and contact details can change, customers should verify the representative through an official company channel before sending money or personal documents.

18. How can I verify the company before doing business?

Use several checks rather than relying on one signal:

• Confirm the official website, company contacts and current office arrangements;

• Request available registration documents, certificates or business information;

• Obtain a formal quotation or order confirmation;

• Verify the payment account through more than one official channel;

• Confirm that the Ghana and China teams recognise the same order;

• Request recent, privacy-protected shipment or delivery evidence; and

• Keep copies of quotations, receipts, messages and shipping documents.

Verification reduces risk but does not replace careful review of the specific vehicle, contract, payment details and shipping documents for each order.

19. Are there successful deliveries or customer testimonials?

The company stated that more than one customer had completed a transaction and that a recent vehicle arrival was expected shortly after the meeting. The discussion also recommended sharing port-arrival photographs, videos and customer experiences to improve transparency.

Customers may request current evidence such as arrival photographs, collection videos, redacted shipping records, handover records or a reference from a previous buyer. A previous customer's contact details or personal documents should be shared only with that person's consent. Historic evidence should not be treated as proof that a new order has the correct specifications or payment instructions.

20. What should I do if I cannot reach my salesperson after payment?

Do not send additional money or documents to an unverified person. Contact another official channel, such as the Ghana branch manager, the official company telephone number, an official website email address, a verified customer-group administrator or the confirmed physical office.

Provide the order or invoice number, payment receipt, buyer and receiver names, and vehicle details so the order can be traced. Retain all written communications and record any agreed next steps.
